Visit the War Memorial in the centre of town and read all the names of the men and women from the area who served in The Great War from 1914 to 1919, take in the stunning craftsmanship of the sculpture, to learn more of those who served, take a stroll into The Club, previously known as the RSL and grab yourself some tasty food and drink while you view and read about the uniforms and artifacts of more of our service men and women, don't forget to venture behind The Club to see the sculptures and fantastic air force museum on your way out.

One Saturday every month the markets are held just out the front and you will find a huge range of everything from the locals in the area.
If it's outdoor entertainment for the whole family you're looking for, than look no further than Jubilee Park in the centre of town. Jubilee has a wide range of play equipment for all ages including, slides of all sizes, see-saw, climbing blocks, ropes and ladders, swings, flying fox and even hamster wheels as well as an outdoor gym.Not only will you find a playground but also a skate park, half basketball court, multiple picnic spots with barbecues and a stage where dance and music performances and group meetings are held. The park hosts a range of events throughout the year as well, like markets and NAIDOC week activities and is a fabulous place for kids birthday parties with plenty of room for jumping castles and more with a tonne of shade for those hot days.
when it starts getting too hot at the park, step next door to the local swimming pool and find not only a large pool with dive blocks for the lap lovers but a kids pool with fountains and water play areas, the bench seat between the two pools makes for the perfect place to sit and supervise with everyone plays. There is also plenty of grassy space either side of the pool for that after swim ice cream from the pool canteen. On the other side of Jubilee park you will find the Beaudesert Library where they hold reading and craft sessions for young kids as well as books galore and computers to use for all ages.
An amazing family day out is well spent at Towri Sheep Cheeses Open Farm, just out of town, where the whole family can enjoy demonstrations on Milking and even bottle feed the lambs before enjoying a range of cheeses.
Try the Overflow Estate when heading out towards Boonah, where there is no need to book on Saturday and Sunday, and take yourself on a stroll through the wineries while enjoying the food, wine and ambience it has to offer or sit and admire the stunning water views.
Wyaralong Dam and Lake Wyaralong Sculpture Park are just a stones throw from Beaudesert and offer a great place for picnics with plenty of parking. If you are up for more adventure, visit Maroon dam where you can take the boat and tubes or jet skis for some water sport fun.If it is just a good feed you are after, try some of the many popular pubs and cafes around Beaudesert, all offering big meals to chase the hunger away.
